Ed Fenny owner of Shark Bay 4WD and Ocean Park

Ed Fenny - Owner / Tour Guide

Ed studied marine science following a childhood exploring the extensive WA coastline with a nature-loving family. As owner of Ocean Park and Shark Bay 4WD, Ed has over a decade of experience in Shark Bay and loves to share his knowledge of the pastoral history and marine life of his home on every trip. When Ed isn’t driving the 4WD, you’ll find him fishing, diving and kite surfing around Shark Bay.

John Craig - Tour Guide

After completing his masters in Theoretical Physics John came to Australia in 2006 and fell in love with Shark Bay. Whether it's exploring pristine beaches, rugged cliffs or finding secret spots in his own 4WD, John loves the adventure Shark Bay offers. He is even a minor celebrity thanks to his 4WD skills and ability to eat pizza. But we'll let him tell you about that!

Ralf at Cape Inscription on Dirk Hartog Island 4WD Tour

Ralf Jaehrling - Tour Guide

Ralf studied in his native Germany before becoming an integral part of the early development at Ocean Park Aquarium. For nearly the last decade, Shark Bay has been his home. In his spare time, Ralf enjoys 4WD adventures, fishing 60m cliffs at Steep Point or catching 2m cobia from the mouths of sharks in a tiny kayak. If you find a German being towed to South Africa by a shark, please let us know!

Our 4WD Vehicles

Our primary tour vehicle is our Toyota Landcruiser 200 Series. The "big girl" or the "two-hunjee" as she's affectionately known is the premier 4WD tour vehicle in Shark Bay. Unparalleled luxury and comfort mixed with the power and reliability to handle any terrain Shark Bay has to offer. What this car can do will astonish and amaze! She comes fully equipped with heavy duty lift kit, upgraded suspension for a more comfortable ride, dual AC / climate control, room for 7 passengers, built in compressor, Micky Thompson tyres and much more...In short it is an extremely stable, comfortable and capable vehicle ready to go anywhere you want us to take you.
