Shark Bay 4WD

Successful school holidays!

With many people looking for some welcome warmth during winter, it comes as no surprise that the July school holidays have always been one of our busiest seasons – and this year was no exception!

Our 4WD tours have also been exceptionally successful, and between the Steep Point, Francois Peron and Dirk Hartog Island tours, our customer reviews have been nothing less than 5 stars.  We would just like to say a big thank you to everyone who has supported us, we wouldn’t be here without you!

As is the case every year during this time, the Dusky Whaler sharks make their way into the bay. Incredibly curious by nature, they love to come nice and close to the boats and provide a special treat for our marine safaris and dive tours.

Speaking of special treats, If you are after a nice relaxing cuppa or a delicious breakfast before your tour departs, don’t forget that the Oceans café now opens at 8am, while Blue Lagoon Pearls in the centre of town opens at 7am. So come on in, book your tour with us and grab something to warm your belly on these cool mornings.

On a final and incredibly sad note we say farewell to Shark Bays best dive instructor, manager and over all Woo Queen, Kat Dodds! Kat has been with us for almost five years but has decided to continue her journey north and is heading off to Broome and while we know the Bay will not be the same without you, hopefully Broome is prepared for what’s coming their way!
